Flea and tick control starts with arming yourself with the right products. Your pet will usually pick up fleas and ticks from outside.

So it is important that you know the treatment areas where your pets hang out. Moist, shady areas are where fleas will lay their eggs. Flea eggs and larvae cannot survive in direct sunlight. Fleas know this and avoid these areas. A lawn that is too high with poor drainage is their favorite place to nest.
